 The Poudre River Public Library District and The Lyric, invite you to celebrate the long and important presence of Hispanic and Latinx communities in North America with the screening of Roma followed by a short facilitated conversation.
Yalitza Aparicio stars in this film as Cleo, a young domestic worker for a middle-class family in Mexico City. The movie's title comes from the 1970s neighborhood, Colonia Roma, where the family lives. The plot and setting of the movie are based on Mexican film director Alfonso Cuarón's own childhood and the young woman who worked in his house as he grew up.

Yalitza Aparicio protaginiza esta película con el papel de Cleo, una joven trabajadora doméstica de una familia de clase media en la ciudad de México. El título proviene de la Colonia Roma, lugar donde la familia vive en los años setentas. Basada en la infancia del director mexicano Alfonso Cuarón y la joven trabajadora doméstica de su casa.
