Due to weather related transportation issues this event has been rescheduled to Friday, March 29th. Take a step back in time and meet legendary lady Helen Hunt Jackson. She was a poet and an activist working for the rights of Native Americans. She drew attention to the conditions that Native Americans were experiencing through her two books "Ramona" and "The Indian's Plight." Helen Hunt Jackson will be portrayed by Doris McCraw, author, speaker, and historian who specializes in Colorado and women's history.
