UPCOMING COMMUNITY CONVERSATION FOCUSES ON EMPOWERING WOMEN: TACKLING EXPLOITATION, ASSAULT, AND OTHER ISSUES Join the conversation about key issues affecting women and girls, locally and around the world, and ways that individuals can work together to empower women and tackle sex exploitation, domestic violence and sexual assault, and other issues. The program includes an artistic component and the opportunity for open discussion following the guest speakers. Speakers include Kristin Stephen, City Councilwoman and member of the City’s Women’s Commission; Tanya Cadwell, Sexual Assault Victim Advocate Center (SAVA); and a representative from Free Our Girls. The program is designed and hosted by Emma Schulman. The public is welcome to attend.
