New to genealogy or just wanting a tune up of your research skills? This free three-hour class may be just what you’re looking for. The program will cover various types of genealogical records including censuses, vital records, passenger lists, military records and more. You'll learn the differences between primary and secondary records and how to determine the value of each. Once you’ve found records, you may wonder what to do with them, and the class will give you information to determine what type of record keeping is right for you, whether that is paper and pencil, desktop genealogy software or online family trees.
