Please join Tina Salamu and members of the board of Mihec for a presentation on Congo and their work there. Mihec stands for Mission Health & Education in Communities & Congo. Mihec is an 501 (C)(3) Non-Profit Organization that was created in 2010 by Tina Salumu, a native of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Tina and her husband Ben live in Fort Collins where they raise their three children. Tina and her Board members will do a presentation about DRC and will talk about their Non-Profit Organization, their activities to help orphans and underprivileged people in Congo.Library: Old Town Library
Tina Salumu is a native of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Tina holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Law from People’s Friendship University of Moscow (Russia). She also earned a Masters of Science in Criminal justice from Colorado Technical University (USA). In addition to English, Tina speaks French, Russian, Swahili and Lingala. She and her husband Ben raise three children and currently live in Colorado. Tina is an active community-oriented person. She frequently travels to her home-country where she is involved in humanitarian activities.
Also presenting will be Kate Colby, Stephen Johnson, Felix Wong, and Julia Weatherhead.
