This month for the Reading Rainbow: LGBTQ+ Book Club we'll be reading and discussing An Autobiography of Red by Anne Carson.
Join us in-person at Old Town Library. These discussions are free and open to the public, but you must register to receive an invitation and information on getting a copy of the book.
Book Description: Autobiography of Red is novel and poem; an unconventional re-creation of an ancient Greek myth and a wholly original coming-of-age story set in the present. It follows Geryon, a young boy who is also a winged red monster. As he grows older, Geryon finds solace behind the lens of his camera and in the arms of a young man named Herakles.
