The Partnership for Age-Friendly Communities (PAFC) is now offering Technology Clinics to active agers in our community.
We have a team of volunteers available to provide support for those needing help using their mobile phones, tablets, laptops, or desktop devices.
This clinic provides an opportunity for you to meet with your tech buddy and perhaps pick up a few pointers from questions raised by other attendees.
We are offering a tech clinic at the Harmony Library on April 22, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. There will be 40 minute sessions to answer basic technology questions. Registration is required. Bring your device, and let us see if we can help you out!

Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias have a ripple effect on families, particularly those in the “sandwich generation.” Caring for parents or older family members with dementia, while juggling our own children, grandchildren, careers, and other relationships can be overwhelming. Registration opens today for the June 20 event: Free to Read. This staff lead program for high school students and adults features recently published and banned or challenged books. May's discussion will be about Ace of Spades by Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé. This award winning thriller tells the story of two private school students targeted by an anonymous bully. Once registered, you will be notified when your complimentary book is available for pick up at Council Tree Library.
