Grantseeking Basics will provide an overview of the function research process for those new to nonprofits and for those seeking grants from foundations, corporations and grant making public charities. The workshop will provide an overview of Foundation Center websites, tips on how to best identify funding sources for your nonprofit, and highlight the digital and print resources available for free at the Harmony Library's Funding Information Network collection. The workshop will include a demonstration and hands-on-use of the Foundation Directory Online, the Foundation Center's newly designed database providing information on more than one million grant makers.
