 The National Novel Writing Month kicks off in November. Are you ready to pound out some pages? This workshop is geared toward new writers who’ve always wanted to write a novel, but have never found the time to do so. You’re not alone! In two hours, we’ll cover: setting expectations and goals, understanding basic story frameworks, and tools to maintain motivation. Participants will walk away with game plan and by November 30th, have 50,000 words of a first draft!

 Kristin Owens is an award-winning educator and seasoned storyteller with over seventy publications. Her essay, War Bride, is a finalist for the 2019 New Letters’ Conger Beasley Jr. Award for Nonfiction, and her debut manuscript, Elizabeth Sails, was a judge’s favorite for Ink & Insights.
