Summer’s here, and that means protecting our lips from the elements. With so many kinds of lip balm out there, it can be hard to find the right one. What’s the solution? Let’s make our own! We’ll use safe, food-based ingredients like Kool-aid, Jello, coconut oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, mint, vanilla and more. Want an electric blue sour raspberry lip balm that doubles as sunblock? You got it! How about a pink cherry lip balm with a ton of glitter? Let’s whip up a batch! Open to tweens age 10 to 13 of all genders. Materials provided; each tween will be able to take home a container of the lip balm they designed. Registration required.
