History Comes Alive with Amelia Earhart

Event Type: Programs

Date: 3/10/2017
Start Time: 7:00 PM
End Time: 8:00 PM
Come join us for the evening with the Queen of the Air. You will witness that Amelia Earhart (1897-1937) was much more than a noted pilot. She pushed through social barriers and served as a role model and inspiration to many with her courage, determination and spirit of adventure. In a time when girls were expected to behave like ladies, Amelia pushed through social expectations even from a young age. She became an American hero when there was a national obsession with record setting/breaking as the world was suddenly looking at Americans as trend-setters. You will have the chance to hear about her life and even ask the aviator questions.

The Queen of the Air is brought to life by storyteller, singer, and living history actor, Elsa Wolff.
