What if language was not connected with simple symbolic meanings but was more so an object or material? What if you were able to intervene with great works of literature or art? Join Poet Laureate, Aby Kaupang, in an playfully irreverent afternoon workshop in which participants receive an introduction to Erasure and take brushes and scissors to the page to fabricate their own poems borrowing from literature, visual art and everyday found texts. At the end of the session, everyone will be given the opportunity to share their poem with the group. No experience is required. All materials are supplied, and the workshop is free to attend.
