Event Details

Poudre River Public Library District is looking for teens to join the IRS! No, it doesn't mean working with taxes, it means working with books, and lots more. The Interesting Reader Society is a special group of young adults in grades 6-12 who meet monthly to talk mainly about books and also about movies, music, and other topics of interest to teens. They plan and participate in exciting teen library programs and volunteer activities, serve as members of a decision-making team, promote the library, books, and reading at school and to the rest of the community, and provide teen feedback for the library staff. Teens interested in becoming members of the IRS will find an application form at: https://read.poudrelibraries.org/contact/irs/. Information about dates, times, and locations of meetings can be found on the Teens web page (http://read.poudrelibraries.org/teen/irs.cfm) or in one of the Teen areas at Old Town Library, 201 Peterson Street; Harmony Library, 4616 South Shields; or Council Tree Library located at 2733 Council Tree Ave.
